WAYTU (World Association of Young Trade Unionists) has been established with the inspiration and strength drawn from the pioneering experience and vision of Genç Sağlık Sendikası and the Confederation of Public Servants (DMK), which have broken new ground in the Republic of Türkiye with an independent, dynamic, and next-generation approach to trade unionism. Our core mission is to unite young public servants and young trade union leaders on a global scale upon a framework of universal labor partnership.
Transcending traditional unionist molds, WAYTU takes it upon itself to redefine the future of labor through a next-generation perspective. In this direction, our utmost priority is to elevate the rights and interests of young public laborers to global standards and to amplify the voice of youth within decision-making mechanisms during digitalization, artificial intelligence integration, and modern public administration processes.
Through the international networks established within our Union, we commit to facilitating intellectual capital transfer between countries, enhancing the public diplomacy capabilities of young trade unionists, and building an unwavering, cross-border institutional labor solidarity.
